N ancy Klann-Moren, Author and Artist, wrote the novel, The Clock Of Life, a thought provoking, award winning story of friendship and struggle at a time in our history when American protests changed the status quo.
In her short story collection, Like The Flies On The Patio, Klann-Moren brings us fallible and human characters who live on the page and gently break your heart. The portraits she paints are gritty, distinctive, and just plain fun to read. Nancy's work has been called inspired. Her writing voice is clear and distinctive. Her books let you walk in the shoes of the characters and feel their hearts and souls.
Her forthcoming novel, Love and Protest, begins with the chance discovery of a diary. This is a coming-of-age-story about two young womens' paths toward realizing their future as activists. Over fifty years separate their compelling journeys.
She is married to a retired architect who now designs and creates beautiful "architectural" ceramic art . She is the mother of two sons, both rock stars in their own fields. Oh, and a tuxedo cat who doesn't give a damn about anything. She is a native Californian raised in North Hollywood, and now live a stone's throw from the beach, if you can throw a stone five miles.

Waste Not... Collection
N ancy likes to work with saved and found objects. Her most recent venture is a collection of unconventional 3-dimensional fashion/art. The materials used inspire the designs and each piece has its own personality. She calls it her "Waste Not. . ." collection, where the tossed aside has a chat with art and fashion. Each piece stands 6'3, and with the headpieces, up to 7'. They are displayed on high-end Bonaveri Mannequins that are also recycled.
Her intention is to make art. If it encourages someone else to think about excess and waste, it's all the better.
